ELECTRIC OPERATION |
Motors are standard on all fire shutters. The tubular motor fits inside the axle and draws approximately 250 watts, 3amps. Operation is by Key switch. |

STANDARD SURFACE MOUNTED GUIDE RAIL |
Traditional Guides include 3mm galvanised steel channels. 50mm x 32mm (Manual) and 65mm x 32mm (Electric) attached to a fixing angle. |

RECESS MOUNTED GUIDE RAIL |
Included as standard with all Spring Loaded shutters. The lock is fitted into the bottom lath, when the key is turned it shoots aluminium bars into the guide rails each side. |

FUSIBLE LINK ACTIVATION |
The Fusible Link is a lead joint that is designed to melt at 64 degrees. When it separates at 64 degrees centigrade, in effect the temperature releases the link and creates a signal to the relay which in turn powers the door down. |

AUTO SOLENOID FIRE ALARM ACTIVATION |
The most commonly used means of release. The shutter is wired into the fire alarm, which sends a volt free signal to the shutter on activation, which in turn powers down the shutter. |

AUDIO VISUAL PANEL |
Principally this unit is designed to delay the closing of the fire shutter: generally the fire alarm is linked to the audio visual unit and from the audio visual unit straight into the key switch. On activation from the fire alarm the unit starts to "flash & sound", this unit contains a programmable timer which effectively delays the signal to the relay in the panel to close the door. |

KEY SWITCH |
Single Pole Key switch is used as a standard switch to deliver extra safety. |
FITTERS MATE CONTROLLER |
The Fitters Mate controller reduces the voltage to the Switch from 240V down to Low Voltage. Its also allows the shutter to be wired into the fire alarm. | |

ANTI DROP BRAKE |
To comply with the Construction Products Directive all doorway shutters require an anti fall back device when the maximum out of balance static force exceeds 200 newton's after component failure. |

BATTERY BACKUP |
The Battery Backup has been designed to provide power for roller shutters when mains power is not available. The system can be set to provide standby power for up to 100 days. During a power failure the unit will have enough power to provide at least eight complete shutter cycles. |

BOX SECTION PACKERS |
We have a large range of Steel and Aluminium Box Section packers available. Used to pack off to avoid obstructions like skirting boards, architrave, cables and pipes. |

We have a large range of Steel and Aluminium Angle available. Used to pack off to avoid obstructions and close off any gaps around the shutter. |
